NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th February, 2026
S.O. 888(E).—- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (c) of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official
Secrets Act, 1923 (19 of 1923) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of
Home Affairs number S.O. 795 (E), dated the 15th February, 2022, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part
II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 18th February, 2022, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before
such supersession, and considering the ground that information with respect thereto, or damage thereto, would be useful
to an enemy, it is expedient that precautions should be taken to prevent the entry of unauthorised persons thereat, the
Central Government hereby declares the place specified in column (1) of the Schedule mentioned below to be a
prohibited place for the purposes of the said act.
