Order
New Delhi, the 13th March, 2026
S.O. 1335(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10
of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic
or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985, namely:—
1. (1) This Order may be called the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) (Third) Amendment Order,
2026.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette
2. In the Fertilizer (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order,1985 (hereinafter referred to as the said
order, in schedule I, Part A "Specifications of Fertiliser",-
(i) in sub-heading 1(h) relating to, Fortified fertilizer, after serial number 39, the following serial number and
entries shall be inserted, namely,-
“40. NPK 14-22-14 with Sulphur Zinc and Boron

3. In Schedule -III,of the said Order, in Part A, relating to Specification of Bio ferilisers,-
(i) under serial number 4. relating to "Phosphate Solubilising bacteria", against the entry "Total Viable
count,"after the word "carrier material", the words "or per gram capsule content or" shall be inserted;
(ii) under serial number 9, relating to Carrier based Consortia, against the entry "Total Viable count of all
biofertilisers in the product,", after the word “carrier / powder ", the words "or per gram capsule content” shall
be inserted.
4.In Schedule V of the said Order, in Part A, relating to " Specification of Non-edible De-oiled cake Fertilisers", under
serial number 1. “General Specification of Non-edible De-oiled cake Fertilisers", against item 4, for the entry "<4",
the words and figure "shall not be more than 8 shall be substituted".
5. In schedule VII of the said Order relating to "General Specifications of Nano Fertilisers,"-
(i) in serial number 2, Nano Nitrogen, and Phosphorus Fertiliser,-
(a) for the words Nano nitrogen, and Phosphorus, the words Nano Nitrogen, Phosphorus with and without
Potassium shall be substituted;
(b) in item (i), against entry (a), for the figures "10-70" the following shall be substituted, namely,-
"<100",
(ii) in serial number 3, Nano Phosphorus, the item (iii) and entries thereunder shall be omitted.
