L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-17012025-260288 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 313] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, JANUARY 17, 2025/PAUSHA 27, 1946 MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND BROADCASTING NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 17th January, 2025 S.O. 315(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (h) of section 2 of the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act, 1995 (7 of 1995), and in supersession of the notification number S.O. 718(E), dated the 29th September, 1994, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 29th September, 1994, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby notifies, the following registering authorities for the purposes of the said Act, namely :- (i) Section Officer in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting dealing with digital addressable systems for local cable operator; and (ii) Additional Secretary or Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for multi-system operator.
