Additionally, the proviso to sub-rule (3) of rule 37 is omitted. The principal rules, Cinematograph (Certification) Rules, 2024, were originally published vide G.S.R. 214(E) dated 15th March, 2024, and the notification was signed by Ajay Nagabhushan M.N., Jt. Secy.

(1) These rules may be called the Cinematograph (Certification) Amendment Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Cinematograph (Certification) Rules, 2024,- (a) in rule 33, sub-rule (2) shall be omitted. (b) in rule 33, sub-rule (3), (4) and (5) shall be renumbered as sub-rule (2), (3) and (4), respectively. (c) in rule 37, the proviso to sub-rule (3) shall be omitted. [F.
