S.O. 4487(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 4295(E), dated the 3rd October’2023, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (ii), dated the 3rd October, 2023, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire the land measuring 2133.25 acres (approximately) or 863.29 hectares (approximately) and all rights in or over such land described in the Schedule annexed to that notification; And whereas the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act, has made his report to the Central Government; And whereas the Central Government, after considering the aforesaid report and after consulting the Government of Jharkhand, is satisfied that the land measuring 2133.25 acres (approximately) or 863.29 hectares (approximately) and all rights in or over such land as described in the Schedule appended hereto should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that all rights in or over the land measuring 2133.25 acres (approximately) or 863.29 hectares (approximately) as described in the said Schedule are hereby acquired; The plan bearing number REV/01/2024, dated the 20th July, 2024, comprising the area covered by this notification may be inspected in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, District Ranchi, Jharkhand or at the Office of Coal Controller, Coal Controller's Organisation, Ministry of Coal, Scope Minar, 5th Floor, Core II, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi 110092 or in the Office of the General Manager, North Karanpura Area, District Ranchi, Jharkhand or General Manager, Land and Revenue, Central Coalfields Limited, Darbhanga House, Ranchi 834001, Jharkhand or General Manager (Exploration Division), Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited, Gondwana Palace, Kanke Road, Ranchi 834031, Jharkhand.
