AMENDED ORDER
New Delhi, the 9th September, 2026
S.O. 5020(E).— Whereas the Ministry of Power, Government of India, vide Gazette Notification No. CG-
DL-E-11092024-257066 (S.O. 3875(E)) dated 10th September 2024, granted authorization under Section 164 of the
Electricity Act, 2003 to M/s Halvad Transmission Limited, the applicant with its registered office at C-105, Anand
Niketan, New Delhi – 110021, for the transmission scheme: "Transmission system for evacuation of additional 7 GW
of RE power from Khavda RE Park under Phase III Part A". The following overhead transmission lines are covered
under this scheme:
i. KPS2 (GIS) – Halvad 765 kV D/C line
ii. LILO of Lakadia – Ahmedabad 765 kV D/C line at Halvad
And whereas, M/s Halvad Transmission Limited published corrigendum to the earlier public notices for the
above transmission scheme in local newspapers, Indian Express (in English) dated 22nd November 2025, Rajasthan
Patrika (in Hindi) dated 22nd November 2025, Kutch Mitra (in Gujarati) dated 22nd November 2025 and Sandesh (in
Gujarati) dated 22nd November 2025, and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 27th December 2025 for the general public
to make observations/ representations on the proposed transmission route within two months from the date of
publication. Subsequently, M/s Halvad Transmission Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 31.03.2026 declaring
that 60 nos. of representations were received within two months from the date of Publication of the Corrigendum in
the official Gazette of Government of India and the same have been answered by M/s Halvad Transmission Limited
and that no further representations were received within the 2 months' notice period.
Now, therefore, the following corrections are hereby made in the notification dated 10th Sep 2024.
The Tehsil name for the following villages, originally published under Maliya Tehsil, shall be read as Morbi Tehsil.

All other contents, terms, and conditions of the original order dated 10th September 2024 shall remain
unchanged, except for the following updated compliance requirements:
i. In case, the route of above overhead lines (or some portion of the route of above overhead line) falls in the
Revised Great Indian Bustard (GIB) area, the applicant has to comply with the directions of Hon'ble Supreme
Court of India in its order dated 19.12.2025 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 838 of 2019 and any other directions
given by competent authorities in pursuance of the above order by Hon'ble Supreme Court.
