The Ministry of Power issued S.O. 5376(E) dated 11th December 2024, under sub-para 3.2 of Para 3 of the Guidelines circulated under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (No. 36 of 2003), notifying transmission schemes under the TBCB mode based on recommendations of the 24th meeting of the National Committee on Transmission. Two schemes are notified: the transmission system for evacuation of power from RE Projects in the Rajgarh (1500 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh - Phase III, with REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited as Bid Process Coordinator (BPC), involving bus section augmentation at Pachora PS, a 180 km 400 kV double-circuit line between Pachora PS and Rajgarh (PG), and bus reactor installation, with an implementation timeframe of 24 months from SPV transfer for most elements and 31.03.2028 for the element serving RE generator Purvah Green Power Pvt. Ltd. (297 MW); and the transmission system for evacuation of power from RE Projects in the Neemuch (1000 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh - Phase II, with PFC Consulting Limited as BPC, involving bus section creation and ICT augmentation at Neemuch PS, a 190 km line between Neemuch PS and Pachora PS, establishment of a substation at Handiya, and further associated lines, bays and reactors, with a 24-month implementation timeframe from SPV transfer.
