NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th November, 2025
S.O. 5121(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008), read with sub-section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, the Central Government had notified Shri Shaila Kumar Bhatt as Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) for conducting the matters related to NIA cases before the Hon'ble Courts on behalf of the National Investigation Agency as indicated against his name in the table below:-

And whereas, the resignation of Shri Shaila Kumar Bhatt, Spl. PP has been accepted by the Competent Authority;
Now, therefore, the Central Government terminates the appointment of Shri Shaila Kumar Bhatt as Special Public Prosecutor w.e.f. 27.09.2025.
