L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-12032026-270886 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1238] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, MARCH 12, 2026/PHALGUNA 21, 1947 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 12th March, 2026 S.O. 1295(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972) read with sub-rule (4) of rule 3 of the National Board for Wild Life Rules, 2003, the Central Government hereby nominates the following as members to the National Board for Wild Life and makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment and Forests number S.O. 1093(E), dated the 22nd September, 2003, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), namely:— In the said notification,- (i) In clause (e), for the entries relating to non-governmental organizations, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- "(i) Goa Bird Conservation Network, Goa (ii) Aaranyak, Guwahati, Assam (iii) World Wildlife Fund (WWF) India (iv) Gujarat Ecological Education and Research Foundation, Gandhinagar, Gujarat (v) Nature Conservation Foundation, Bengaluru, Karnataka" (ii) In clause (f), for the entries relating to eminent conservationists, ecologists and environmentalists, the following shall be substituted, namely:— "(i) Dr. Satya Prakash Yadav (ii) Dr. Mewa Singh (iii) Padma Shri Popatrao Pawar (iv) Dr. Chhavi Nath Pandey (v) Dr. Priya Davidar (vi) Prof. Mukesh Sharma (vii) Shri Siddhanta Das (viii) Shri Jigmet Takpa (ix) Shri Soumitra Dasgupta (x) Shri Ajaya Kumar Naik" (iii) In clause (v), for the entries relating to representatives of States, the following shall be substituted, namely:— "(i) Bihar (ii) Chhattisgarh (iii) Gujarat (iv) Himachal Pradesh (v) Haryana (vi) Lakshadweep (vii) Meghalaya (viii) Odisha (ix) Telangana (x) Tamil Nadu" [F.
