NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th January, 2026
G.S.R. 22(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the Mines and Minerals (Development
and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the
Minerals (Other than Atomic and Hydro Carbons Energy Minerals) Concession Rules, 2016, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Minerals (Other than Atomic and Hydro
Carbons Energy Minerals) Concession (Amendment) Rules, 2026.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Minerals (Other than Atomic and Hydro Carbons Energy Minerals) Concession Rules, 2016, in rule 45, —
(a) in sub-rule (7), —
(i) for the words “, Zirconium and Caesium in", the words "and Zirconium in" shall be substituted;
(ii) for the words ", Zirconium sponge and Caesium metal", the words "and Zirconium sponge" shall be substituted;
(b) after sub-rule (11), the following sub-rule shall be inserted, namely:-
"(12) The Indian Bureau of Mines shall publish average sale price of Caesium in Indian Rupees on the basis of
prices published by the United States Geological Survey or other reputed publications for Caesium Carbonate for
the latest available calendar year by multiplying such price with the following, namely:—
(a) average reference rate of Reserve Bank of India for the said calendar year; and
(b) the conversion factor of 1.23.".

4th March, 2016 and last amended vide number G.S.R. 486(E), dated the 21st July, 2025.
