Detailed Summary

The Ministry of Home Affairs, via Notification G.S.R. 380(E) dated 11th June, 2025, published in the Gazette of India, has enacted the Central Industrial Security Force, Security Wing, Sub-Inspector (Executive) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2025. These rules, made by the Central Government under powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 22 of the Central Industrial Security Force Act, 1968 (50 of 1968), amend the principal Central Industrial Security Force, Security Wing, Sub-Inspector (Executive) Recruitment Rules, 2013. The amendment specifically inserts a new item "III" in column 7 of the Schedule, after item II, stating that the "Physical and medical standard for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspector (Executive), in the Central Industrial Security Force shall be applicable as per the Scheme prescribed by the Central Government from time to time." These amendment rules come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. The principal rules were initially published vide G.S.R. 783(E) dated 18th December, 2013, and last amended vide G.S.R. 512(E) dated 24th May, 2017.

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-11062025-263730 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 337] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11, 2025/JYAISTHA 21, 1947 MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 11th June, 2025 G.S.R. 380(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 22 of the Central Industrial Security Force Act, 1968 (50 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Industrial Security Force, Security Wing, Sub-Inspector (Executive) Recruitment Rules, 2013, namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Central Industrial Security Force, Security Wing, Sub-Inspector (Executive) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2.In the Central Industrial Security Force, Security Wing, Sub-Inspector (Executive) Recruitment Rules, 2013, in the Schedule, in column 7, after item II, the following item shall be inserted, namely :- "III. Physical andmedical standard for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspector (Executive), in the Central Industrial Security Forceshall be applicable as per the Scheme prescribed by the Central Government from time to time.".
