The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), acting under Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, has notified the detailed schedule and examination centers for its Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Examinations to be held in September 2025. The Final Course Group-I examinations are scheduled for September 3rd, 6th, and 8th, 2025, and Group-II for September 10th, 12th, and 14th, 2025. The Intermediate Course Group-I examinations will take place on September 4th, 7th, and 9th, 2025, with Group-II on September 11th, 13th, and 15th, 2025. The Foundation Course examinations are set for September 16th, 18th, 20th, and 22nd, 2025. No examination is scheduled for September 5th, 2025, which is a compulsory Central Government holiday for Milad un - Nabi, as per F. No. 12/2/2023-JCA dated 9.7.2024 issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions. Most examinations are of 3 hours duration (2 PM to 5 PM IST), with Foundation Paper 3 & 4 being 2 hours (2 PM to 4 PM IST) and Final Paper 6 being 4 hours (2 PM to 6 PM IST). A 15-minute advance reading time is provided from 1:45 PM to 2 PM IST for all papers except Foundation Paper 3 & 4 and MCQs based question papers. Examinations will be conducted across numerous Indian cities and 9 overseas centers: Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, Muscat, and Riyadh. Candidates must apply online via https://eservices.icai.org (Self Service Portal - SSP), with online application submission commencing on July 5th, 2025. The last date for submission without late fees is July 18th, 2025, and with a late fee of ₹600/- or US$10 is July 21st, 2025. A correction window for examination city or medium change will be available from July 22nd to 24th, 2025. Examination fees vary by course and center type, for instance, ₹1500/- for Foundation in Indian Centres, and US$325 for overseas centres (excluding Bhutan & Kathmandu), with specific rates for Bhutan & Kathmandu.
