L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-09022024-251965 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 551] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2024/MAGHA 20, 1945 881 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 9th February, 2024 S.O. 581(E).- Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 4163(E), dated 6th September, 2022, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), and published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), the dated 6th September, 2022, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire 273.91 hectares (approximately) or 676.83 acres (approximately) lands and all rights in or over such land specified in the Schedule appended to that notification; And, whereas, the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act has made his report to the Central Government; And, whereas, the Central Government after considering the report aforesaid and after consulting the Government of Madhya Pradesh, is satisfied that the lands measuring 273.91 hectares (approximately) or 676.83 acres (approximately) and all rights in or over such land as described in the Schedule appended hereto should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land measuring 273.91 hectares (approximately) or 676.83 acres (approximately) and all rights in or over such land as described in the Schedule are hereby acquired. The plan bearing number NCL/HQ/LAND AND REVENUE/2023/95, dated the 20th July, 2023 of the area covered by this notification may be inspected at the office of the Collector, District Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh or at the office of the Coal Controller, Coal Controller's Organisation, 5th Floor, Core-II, Scope Minar, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi-110 092 or at the office of the General Managar, Northern Coalfields Limited, Land and Revenue Section, District Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh – 486889. Plot numbers acquired in village Panjreh: 2(P), 3 to 5, 6(P),8(P), 9(P), 10, 11(P), 140(P), 141(P), 162(P), 163 to 165, 166(P), 167(P), 168, 169 and all the plots or land falling within polygon F-E-D-I-T-S-R-F are acquired. Boundary description of this polygon (F-E-D-I-T-S-R-F):- Line F-E: The line starts from point 'F' and passes through plot numbers 349,348 and 64 of village Medhauli and meets at point 'E' of plot number 64. Line E-D: The line starts from point 'E' and passes through eastern boundary of plot number 63 (Nalla) and meets at most eastern point 'D' of plot number 63. Line D-I: The line starts from point 'D' and passes through plot numbers 65,345,344,343,361,370,372/622 and 372 of village Medhauli and meets at point 'I' of plot number 389. Line I-T: The line starts from point 'I' situated on previously acquired boundary of Medhauli West (Dip North Side) block, S.O. number 3065, dated the 20th October, 2011 and passes through common boundary of plot numbers 171 and 169 and common boundary of 170 and 169 of village Pijreh (Panjreh) and meets at point 'T'. Line T-S: The line starts from point 'T' and passes through common boundary of plot numbers 170 and 167 of village Pijreh (Panjreh) and meets at point 'S'. Line S-R: The line starts from point 'S' and passes through plot numbers 167,166,140,141,162,11 and 9 of village Pijreh (Panjreh) and meets at point 'R'. Line R-F: The line starts from point 'R' and passes through plot numbers 9,6,8 and 2 of Panjreh and plot numbers 354 and 349 of village Medhauli and meets at starting point 'F'.
