G.S.R. 883(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub -section (2) of section 156 of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Fo rce Act, 1992 (35 of 1992), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Indo -Tibetan Border Police Force, Water Wing (Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Technical Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2019 namely : — 1. Short title and commencement .— (1) These rules may be called the Indo -Tibetan Border Police Force, Water Wing (Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Technical Posts), Recruitment Amendment Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Indo -Tibetan Border Police Force, Water Wing (Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Technical Posts), Recruitment Rules, 2019, - (a) in rule 8, for the word “fifty seven”, the word “sixty” shall be substituted; (b) In the Schedule, - (i) against serial number 1, relating to the post of Assistant Commandant (Workshop), in column number (11), - (I) under the sub -heading by Promotion, - (A) for the word “three”, the word “five” shall be substituted; (B) after Note 2, the following Note shall be inserted, namely: - “Note 3. - The eligibility condition for promotion of Inspector (Master, Engine Driver and Workshop) who are holding the post on regular basis, on the date of notification of these rules, shall be three years of regular service in the rank of Inspector and having successfully completed the specified pre -promotional training course.”; (II) under the sub -heading by deputation, - (A) in clause (a), in sub -clause (ii), for the word “three”, the word “five” shall be substituted; (B) in clause (b) after the words “Motor Transport”, the words “or Motor Mechanic” shall be insert ed; (C) in Note 2, for the word “three”, the word “five” shall be substituted; (D) in Note 3, for the words “fifty -two, the word “fifty -six” shall be substituted; (III) under the sub -heading Deputation/re -employment for ex -servicemen, - (A) for the words “fifty seven”, the word “sixty” shall be substituted; (B) for the words “Fifty -two, the words “fifty -six” shall be substituted; (ii) against serial number 2, relating to the post of Inspector(Master), in column number (11), under the sub -heading By deputation, in Note 3, fo r the words “fifty -two”, the words “fifty -six shall be substituted; (iii) against serial number 3, relating to the post of Inspector (Work Shop), in column number (11), under the sub - heading By deputation, in Note 3, for the words “fifty -two”, the words “ fifty-six” shall be substituted; (iv) against serial number 4, relating to the post of Inspector (Engine Driver), in column number (11), under the sub - heading By deputation, in note 3, for the words “fifty -two”, the words “fifty -six” shall be substituted; (v) against serial number 5, relating to the post of Sub -Inspector (Master), in column number (11), under the sub - heading By deputation, in Note 3, for the words “fifty -two”, the words “fifty -six” shall be substituted; (vi) against number 6, relating to the post of Sub -Inspector (Workshop), in column number (11), under the sub - heading by deputation, in Note 3, for the words “fifty -two”, the words “fifty -six” shall be substituted; (vii) against serial number 7, relating to the post of Sub -Inspector (Engine Driver), in column number (11), under the sub-heading By deputation, in Note 3, for the words “fifty -two”, the words “fifty -six” shall be substituted.
