L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-08032024-252760 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1125] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, MARCH 8, 2024/PHALGUNA 18, 1945 1709 GI/2024 (1) 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II-SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th March, 2024 S.O. 1187(E).—Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 3 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (37 of 1967), the Central Government declared the Muslim Conference Jammu and Kashmir (Bhat faction) (MCJK-B), as an unlawful association vide notification number S.O. 934(E) dated the 28th February, 2024 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3, Sub-section (ii) dated the 28th February, 2024. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (37 of 1967) (herein after referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby directs that all powers exercisable by it under section 7 and section 8 of the said Act shall also be exercised by the State Governments and the Union territory administrations in relation to the above said unlawful association.
