                Detailed Summary
            

            
The Ministry of Mines, acting as the Administering Authority, issued a notification dated 5th November 2024 (S.O. 4819(E)) in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Offshore Areas Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 2002 (17 of 2003), declaring that specified parts of the offshore area, delineated by boundary point coordinates set out in an annexed Table, shall be available for grant of composite licence; the Table lists six blocks, comprising Kollam Construction Sand Block-1 (Area 79 square kilometre), Kollam Construction Sand Block-2 (Area 78 square kilometre) and Kollam Construction Sand Block-3 (Area 85 square kilometre), all located Off-Kerala on the West Coast in the Arabian Sea and designated for construction sand mineral, together with Porbandar Limemud Block-1 (Area 66.64 square kilometre), Porbandar Limemud Block-2 (Area 69.81 square kilometre) and Porbandar Limemud Block-3 (Area 66.64 square kilometre), all located Off-Gujarat on the West Coast in the Arabian Sea and designated for limemud mineral.

New Delhi, the 5th November, 2024

S.O. 4819(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Offshore Areas Mineral
(Development and Regulation) Act, 2002 (17 of 2003), the administering authority hereby declares that parts of the
offshore area along with the coordinates of the boundary points as specified in the Table below, shall be available for
grant of composite licence.
