The Election Commission of India, through Notification O.N. 33(E) issued on 7th August, 2025, has made specific arrangements for the Vice-Presidential Election. In pursuance of Rule 8 of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Elections Rules, 1974, the Commission has fixed Room No. F-101, Vasudha, First Floor, Parliament House, New Delhi, as the designated place of polling. Furthermore, the polling hours have been specified from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., both inclusive, for the poll if it becomes necessary at the said location. These decisions align with the Election Commission's Notification No. 480/Programme/2025, also dated 7th August, 2025. In pursuance of Rule 8 of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Elections Rules, 1974, the Election Commission of India hereby; (a) fixes Room No. F-101, Vasudha, First Floor, Parliament House, New Delhi as the place of polling for the Vice-Presidential Election to be held in accordance with its Notification No.480/Programme/2025, dated the 07th August, 2025; and (b) specifies the hours from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. both inclusive to be the hours during which the poll shall, if necessary, be taken at the said place of polling.
