NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 7th August, 2024
O. N. 158(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 13AA of the
Representation of the People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), the Election Commission of India, in consultation with the State
Government, hereby directs that the following amendments shall be made in its Notification No. 508/MT/2008 dated
29/07/2008, relating to appointment of District Election Officer in Maharashtra State;
In the table appended to the abovesaid notification, for the entry against 22 – Mumbai Suburban and
23 - Mumbai City District, as specified in column (1), following entry shall be substituted in column (2) :-
