In exercise of the power conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of The Railways (Amendment) Act-2008, the Central Government hereby notifies the project of "Chord Line Connecting MFJ (NER)-JNU-MGWN Bypassing JNU (Jaunpur Jn.) 1.5 Km" and "Chord Line Connecting DJD (NER)-SHG- BWI Bypassing SHG (Shahganj Jn.) 5.7 Km" as a Special Railway Project for acquisition of land, in Jaunpur District in the State of Uttar Pradesh, for providing national infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette.
