NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th March, 2026
S.O. 1177(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968),
the Central Government hereby nominates the following persons as members to the Central Insecticides Board for a
period of three years from the date of publication of this notification and for this purpose makes the following further
amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community
Development and Cooperation (Department of Agriculture), dated the 27th February, 1971, published in the Gazette of
India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 301(E), dated the 1st March, 1971, namely:-
In the said notification,-
(a) for serial number (xvii) and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted,
namely:-
"(xvii) Director of Health Services, Directorate of
Health Services, Government of Odisha, 2nd Floor,
Health Directorate, HOD Building, Bhubaneswar,
Odisha";
(b) for serial number (xviii) and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted,
namely:-
"(xviii)(a) Director of Agriculture, Department of
Agriculture, Government of Maharashtra,
Commissionerate of Agriculture, 2nd floor, Central
Building, Pune station, Pune, Maharashtra
(b) Director of Agriculture, Department of
Agriculture, Government of Tamil Nadu, 1, Wallaja
Road, PWD Estate, Chepauk, Chennai, Tamil Nadu";
(c) for serial number (xix)(b) and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted,
namely:-
"(xix)(b) Dr. Bhavesh Modi, Director, ICMR-
National Institute of Occupational Hazard (NIOH),
Ahmedabad";
(d) for serial number (xx) and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted,
namely:-
"(xx) Dr. D. Srinivasa Reddy, Director, Council of
Scientific & Industrial Research-Indian Institute of
Chemical Technology, Hyderabad"
