L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-06032026-270705 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1124] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, MARCH 6, 2026/PHALGUNA 15, 1947 MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE (Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 6th March, 2026 S.O. 1176(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Insecticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Agriculture, (Department of Agriculture and Cooperation), dated the 3rd February, 1997, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 79(E), dated the 4th February, 1997, namely:- In the said notification, for serial numbers 5 and 6 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:- "5. Dr. Subhash Chand, Joint Director (Chemistry), Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage, NH-IV, Faridabad, Haryana Member. 6. Dr. Umesh D. Surangi, Professor, Department of Pharmacology, Directorate General of Health Services Member". 2. The member shall hold office for so long as he is a member of the Central Insecticide Board. [F.
