Detailed Summary

The Ministry of Mines issued Notification S.O. 5603(E) on December 4, 2025, exercising powers conferred by the second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957). Consequent upon accreditation provided by the National Accreditation Board for Education and Training of the Quality Council of India, the Central Government has notified M/s Shijay Projects India Private Limited as a "Category 'A' Exploration Agency". This notification is in accordance with the guidelines for accredited private exploration agencies issued by the Ministry of Mines vide order No. M.VI-16/15/2021-Mines VI, dated August 12, 2021. The agency is required to conduct prospecting operations in compliance with the conditions specified in these guidelines. This notification will remain in force for a period of five years from its publication date or until the expiry or termination of the granted accreditation, whichever occurs earlier. L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-05122025-268268 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 5415] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2025/AGRAHAYANA 13, 1947 MINISTRY OF MINES NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 4th December, 2025 S.O. 5603(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by the second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957) and consequent upon accreditation provided by the National Accreditation Board for Education and Training of the Quality Council of India, the Central Government hereby notifies M/s Shijay Projects India Private Limited under "Category 'A' Exploration Agency”, as per the guidelines for notification of accredited private exploration agencies issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Mines vide order No. M.VI-16/15/2021-Mines VI, dated the 12th August, 2021. 2. The said agency shall carry out prospecting operations in compliance with the conditions specified in the said guidelines. 3. This notification shall remain in force for a period of five years from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette or till the expiry or termination of the accreditation granted, whichever is earlier.
