NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 4th June, 2025
S.O. 2482(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (v) of clause (e) of section 3 of the Right
to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30 of 2013),
the Central Government hereby notifies that the Ministry of Defence shall, subject to the control of the President and
until further orders, exercise the powers and discharge the functions of the 'appropriate Government" under the said
Act and the rules made thereunder, for acquisition of land in Kalipur and Shibpur Villages, Diglipur Tehsil, North
Andaman District, Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands for augmentation of Naval assets as per the aviation
basing plan on western side of INS Kohassa Shibpur, as per details below:-
