And whereas, Central El ectricity Authority (CEA), Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its letter CEA -11-21(25)/1/2020 -PSPA -1 dated 09.03.2022 and further revision vide File no. CEA -PS-11-21(25)/1/2018 - PSPA -1 Division dated 04.01.2023 had granted prior approval under sect ion 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered under “Transmission scheme for evacuation of Power from 210 MW Luhri Stage -1 Hydro Electric Project of SJVN Limited in Himachal Pradesh: Luhri Stage -I HEP -400/220 kV Nange GIS Pooling Station 220kV D/C Line”. M/s SJVN Limited has published notice for transmission scheme in l ocal newspapers The Tribune (in English) dated 11.02.2023, Divya Himachal (in Hindi) dated 11.02.2023, Amar Ujala (in Hindi) dated 11.02.2023, Dainik Bhaskar (in Hindi) dated 11.02.2023, Punjab Kesri (in Hindi) dated 11.02.2023 and in Weekly Gazette of Ind ia dated 25.03.2023 for the general public to make observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within 2 Months from the date of publication. Subsequently, M/s SJVN Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 08.06.2023 declaring that no ob servation/representation was received within 2 months from the date of Publication in the official gazette of Government of India. And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established or maintained for laying of electr ic lines under “Transmission scheme for evacuation of Power from 210 MW Luhri Stage -1 Hydro Electric Project of SJVN Limited in Himachal Pradesh: Luhri Stage -I HEP -400/220 kV Nange GIS Pooling Station 220kV D/C Line”. The following overhead line is covered under this scheme: 1. Luhri Stage -I HEP to 400/220kV Nange GIS Pooling Station 220kV D/C line. The approval is granted for 25 years. ii. The Applicant shall have to seek the consent of the concerned authorities i.e., local b odies, Railways, National Highways, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed line. iii. The Applicant shall have to follow regulations/codes of the Appropriate Commission regarding transmission, O&M, open access, etc., framed under Electricity Act, 2003. iv. The Applicant shall operate the line after approval of Electrical Inspector/Chief Electrical Inspector of Central Government. v. The approval is subject to compliance of the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the rules made there under by the applicant. vi. M/s SJVN Limited shall have to submit the requisite clearances to Central Electricity Authority after obtaining the same from concerned authorities like Civil Aviation, Defense etc., at the time of Electrical Inspection.
