L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-04012024-251156 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 22] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, JANUARY 4, 2024/PAUSHA 14, 1945 112 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF MINES NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st January, 2024 G.S.R. 25(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Mines, Indian Bureau of Mines [Senior Stores Officer, Stores Officer, Assistant Stores Officer and Store Keeper (Technical)] Recruitment Rules, 2019, namely:— 1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Mines, Indian Bureau of Mines [Senior Stores Officer, Stores Officer, Assistant Stores Officer and Store Keeper (Technical)] Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Ministry of Mines, Indian Bureau of Mines [Senior Stores Officer, Stores Officer, Assistant Stores Officer and Store Keeper (Technical)] Recruitment Rules, 2019, in the Schedule, against serial number 2 relating to the post of Stores Officer, - (A) in column (9), for the entry, the entry "Two years for promotee." shall be substituted; (B) in column (11), - (i) under the sub-heading “Promotion", for the words "three years", the words "five years” shall be substituted; (ii) after sub-heading “Promotion" and the entries relating thereto and before Note, the following Note shall be inserted, namely: - "Note 1: The eligibility service shall continue to be three years in respect of incumbents holding the feeder post of Assistant Stores Officer in level 7 in the pay matrix (Rs. 44900-142400) on regular basis on the date of notification of the Ministry of Mines, Indian Bureau of Mines [Senior Stores Officer, Stores Officer, Assistant Stores Officer and Store Keeper (Technical)] Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023."; (iii) the "Note" shall be numbered as "Note 2"; (iv) under the sub-heading “Deputation (including short term contract)", - (a) in clause (a), - (A) in sub-clause (ii), after the words, brackets, letters and figures "pay matrix (Rs. 53100-167800)", the words "with four years in" shall be inserted; (B) in sub-clause (iii), for the words "three years", the words "five years” shall be substituted; (b) for clause (b), and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: - (b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience, - (I) Masters Degree with Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Business Studies or Public Administration from a recognised University or Institute; (II) two years experience in indenting, purchase of technical stores and stores account in a concern of the Central Government or State Government or statutory or autonomous organisation or public sector undertakings or recognised University or research Institution. OR (i) Bachelors Degree in Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Business Studies or Public Administration as a subject from a recognised University or Institute; (ii) Diploma in Materials Management or Warehousing Management or Purchasing or Logistics or Public Procurement from recognised University or Institute; (iii) three years experience in indenting, purchase of technical stores and stores account in a concern of the Central Government or State Government or statutory or autonomous organization or public sector undertakings or recognised University or research institution.
