The Ministry of Home Affairs, through Notification S.O. 5555(E) dated 2nd December, 2025, announces that the Central Government, exercising powers under sub-section (1) of section 15 of the National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008) and sub-section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), has appointed Shri Madhav Khurana, Sr. Advocate, as Special Public Prosecutor. This appointment is for conducting the trial and other related matters concerning NIA case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI on behalf of the National Investigation Agency. Shri Khurana will serve before the NIA Special Court and High Court, Delhi, for a period of three years from the date of this notification's publication or until the completion of the said case's trial, whichever occurs earlier.
