The Ministry of Home Affairs issued Notification No. S.O. 1998(E) on 2nd May, 2025. In continuation to Notification No. S.O. 5417(E) dated 21st December, 2023, Notification No. S.O. 4184(E) dated 24th September, 2024, and Notification No. S.O. 5650(E) dated 31st December, 2024, the President has extended the tenure of the Finance Commission constituted for the Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Ladakh and Lakshadweep. The tenure is extended by three months, up to 30.06.2025. The notification references File No. 15020/29/2021-Plg.Cell and is signed by Praveen Kumar Rai, Joint Secretary.
