Short title and Commencement. -(1) This Order may be called the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) (Thirteenth Amendment) Order, 2023. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. The following amendment to Schedule VI of Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003 Against serial number 948, after the entries relating to (ii) Malus domestica (Apple) in column 2 and (iii) Fruits for consumption in column 3, the following entries relating to column (4), (5) and (6) shall be inserted namely: Country of origin Additional declarations required to be incorporated into Phytosanitary certificate Special conditions of import (4) (5) (6) (xiii) Germany Free From: a) Aculus schlechtendali (Apple rust mite) b) Adoxophyes orana (Summer fruit tortrix) c) Amphitetranychus viennensis (hawthorn (spider) mite) d) Archips podan us (great brown twist moth) e) Candidula intersecta (wrinkled dune snail) f) Ceratitis capitata (Mediterranean fruit fly) g) Cydia pomonel la (codling moth) h) Epidiaspis leperii (Europe an pear scale) i) Erwinia amylovora (fire blight) j) Forficula auricularia (European earwig) k) Harmonia axyridis (harlequin ladybird) l) Hedya nubiferana (bud moth) m) Hoplocampa n) Leucoptera malifoliella (Pear leaf blister Methyl Bromide fumigation @32 g/m3for 2 hrs at 21 °C or above at NAP or equivalent thereof. OR Pre-shipment cold treatment at 0°C or below for 13 days; 0.55°C or below for 14 days; 1.1°C or below for 18 days ; plus in-transit refrigeration.
