EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( iii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 62] NEW DELHI, WEDNES DAY , NOVEMBER 1, 2023/ KARTIKA 10, 1945 CG-DL-E-01112023-249835 ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA CORRIGENDUM New Delhi, the 1st November , 2023 O.N. 63(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred under section 9(1)(a) of the Representation of the People Act, 1950 read with Section 11(1)(a) of the Delimitation Act, 2002, the Election Commission of India hereby makes the following corrections/clarifications in Notification No. 282/AS/2023(DEL)/Vol -V, published in an Extrao rdinary Issue of the Gazette of India and Assam Gazette, dated 11.08.2023. 1. In the column showing the extent of Assembly Constituency in Table -A, ‗Government NC‘ under the extent of 104 -Dergaon Assembly Constituency shall be corrected to read as ‗Gual Gaon‘ . 2. In the column showing the name of Assembly Constituency in Table -A (English version), the name of ‗109-Howarghat (ST)‘ Assembly Constituency shall be corrected to read as ‗109 -Howraghat (ST)‘ Assembly Constituency. In Table -B (English version), in the co lumn showing the extent of Parliamentary Constituency, ‗109 -Howarghat (ST)‘ under the extent of 6 -Diphu (ST) Parliamentary Constituency shall be corrected to read as ‗109 -Howraghat (ST)‘. 3. In the column showing the extent of Assembly Constituency in Table -A, ‗Salakati TC‘ under the extent of 3-Kokrajhar (ST) Assembly Constituency shall be corrected to read as ‗Salakati CT‘. 4. In the column showing the name of Assembly Constituency in Table – A (English version), the name of ‗88-Dibrugrah‘ Assembly Constituenc y shall be corrected to read as ‗88 -Dibru garh‘ Assembly Constituency. In Table -B(English version), in the column showing the extent of Parliamentary Constituency, ‗88-Dibrugrah‘ under the extent of 13 - Dibrugarh Parliamentary Constituency shall be correcte d to read as ‘88-Dibrugarh‘. 5. In the column showing the extent of Assembly Constituency in Table -A, ‗Moran Town (TC)‘ under the extent of 91 -Tingkhong Assembly Constituency shall be corrected to read as ‗Moran Town (CT)‘. 6. In DL Data submitted by the Distric t, all Urban Local Bodies have been mapped under 5 Blocks of Dima Hasao District. Accordingly, Haflong Assembly Constituency has been notified to be constituted of all 5 blocks of the District and as such also include all the Urban Local Bodies, i.e. Haflo ng TC, Maibang TC, Mahur TC, Umrangso TC, Langting TC, Harangajao TC and Diyungbra TC. Therefore, in the column showing the extent of Assembly Constituency in Table -A, under the extent of 113-Haflong(ST) Assembly Constituency of District Dima Hasao shown as ―Diyung Valley Dev. Block, Jatinga Valley Dev. Block, Harangajao I.T. Dev. Block, Diyungbra I.T. Dev. Block, New Sangbar I.T. Dev. Block.‖ shall be read as ―Diyung Valley Dev. Block, Jatinga Valley Dev. Block, Harangajao I.T. Dev. Block, Diyungbr a I.T. Dev. Block, New Sangbar I.T. Dev.
