NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1st August, 2025
S.O. 3553(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the National
Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008), read with sub-section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha
Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, the Central Government had notified the following Advocate as Special Public Prosecutor for
conducting the matters related to NIA cases before the Hon'ble Courts on behalf of the National Investigation Agency
as indicated against his name in the table below:-

And whereas, the Central Government has decided to discontinue the appointment of Sh. Makhan Phukan,
Special Public Prosecutor;
Now, therefore, the Central Government terminates the appointment of Sh. Makhan Phukan as Special Public
Prosecutor w.e.f. 14.05.2025.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1st August, 2025
S.O. 3554(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 15 of the National
Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008), read with sub-section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha
Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, the Central Government hereby appoints Smt. Sindhu Ravishankar, Advocate as Special Public
Prosecutor for conducting trial and other matters related to NIA case RC-01/2021/NIA/KOC, on behalf of the National
Investigation Agency, before the NIA Special Courts at Ernakulam and Appellate Court, for a period of 3 years from
the date of publication of this notification or till the completion of trial of the said case, whichever is earlier.

S.O. 3555(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 15 of the National
Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008), read with sub-section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha
Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), the Central Government hereby extends the term of engagement of the following Advocates as
Special Public Prosecutors, for conducting the cases on behalf of the National Investigation Agency before NIA Special
Courts and High Courts in the States mentioned against their names in column (3), for a further period of three years
w.e.f. the dates mentioned against their names in column (4):-
