Notification No. 140(E), dated 28 May 2024, issued by the Election Commission of India under sub-section (1) of Section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), appoints listed additional Government officers (Extra Assistant Commissioners, Circle Officers, a Sub Divisional Officer and Additional Deputy Commissioners across districts including Lower Siang, Shi-Yomi, Siang, Leparada, Upper Subansiri, Kurung Kumey, Papum Pare, East Siang, Lower Dibang Valley, Anjaw, Namsai and Changlang) as Assistant Returning Officers to assist the Returning Officers of the 1-Arunachal West and 2-Arunachal East Parliamentary Constituencies in the State of Arunachal Pradesh in counting votes polled through postal ballot; these officers cease to function as Assistant Returning Officers immediately upon successful completion of counting for the General Election to the Lok Sabha, 2024, for the named constituencies; issued as No. 434/ARUN-HP/2024(1) and signed by N.
