NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th April, 2025
G.S.R. 272(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution,
the Central Government, hereby makes the following rules to amend the Crops Development Directorates,
Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare
(Group 'C' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2017, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement- (i) These rules may be called the Crops Development Directorates,
Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmer Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare
(Group 'C' posts) Recruitment Amendment Rules, 2025.
ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Crops Development Directorates, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare,
Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (Group 'C' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2017 (hereinafter referred to
as the said rules), In Schedule, in Serial number 7, Staff Car Driver,
1. In column (6), for the figures "05", the words, "five", shall be substituted;
2. In column (6), for "Note", the following "Note" shall be substituted namely:-
"Note-The crucial date for determining the age-limit shall be closing date for receipt of applications from
candidates in India. (other than those in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland,
Tripura, Sikkim, Lahual and Spiti District and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh,
Union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Ladakh or Lakshadweep)."
3. In column (7), for the items, the following items shall be substituted, namely:-
"Essential:
i. Possession of valid driving licence for Motor Car and Experience of Driving for three years in
Central Government or State Government Office or Public Sector Undertaking or autonomous
Organisations or institution such as Government eMarket Service provider Agency;
ii. Knowledge of motor Mechanism to remove minor defect in Vehicle from a recognized
institution; or from any Vehicle service Center or Garage having valid GST registration;
iii. 10th standard pass from a recognized Board or institution".
