In exercise of the powers conferred by the second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby notifies the M/s. NTPC Mining Limited, a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the control of the Ministry of Power, for the purposes of the said proviso subject to the condition that the said Public Sector Enterprise shall make available the data generated by it, in respect of the prospecting operations undertaken by it, to the concerned State Government. 2.
