In exercise of powers conferred by clause 7A of section 2 of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government has authorized the Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Sakti, as the Competent Authority. This authorization is for performing the functions of such Authority under the said Act in respect of the Kharsia - Naya Raipur - Parmalkasa 5th and 6th line Special Railway Project, which spans 278 Km and is located in the Sakti District of Chhattisgarh.
