Detailed Summary

The Ministry of Railways (South East Central Railway) published Notification S.O. 2277(E) on 20th May, 2025. In exercise of powers conferred by clause 7A of section 2 of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government authorizes the officers mentioned in the table as the Competent Authority to perform functions under the said Act. The authorized officers are Sub-Divisional Officers (Revenue) in various districts. This authorization is for the area of the Special Railway Project known as the Kharsia - Naya Raipur - Parmalkasa 5th and 6th line, covering a length of 278 Km, located in the state of Chhattisgarh. The districts covered include Durg, Sakti, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Janjgir-Champa, Balodabazar - Bhatapara, and Raipur. This authorization takes effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette. The notification is issued under F. No. DCE/C/BSP/KHS-PMS/5th and 6th line/land acquisition/2 and is signed by ALOK TIWARI, Chief, Administrative Officer (Construction).
