In exercise of powers conferred by clause 7A of section 2 of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government, through the Ministry of Railways (S.E.C. Railway), has authorized the Sub Divisional Officer, Champa, as the Competent Authority. This authorization is for performing functions under the said Act in respect of the Special Railway Project for the construction of a Road Over Bridge (RUB) using the Open Cut & Cover method, in lieu of manned Level Crossing No. 338 at Km. 666/18-20 in CHAMPA YARD on the JSG-BSP section, Bilaspur Division. The project is located in Champa Taluka, Janjgir-Naila District, in the State of Chhattisgarh. This authorization, issued vide Notification S.O. 3238(E) on July 9, 2025, takes effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette (July 15, 2025). The notification was signed by SANJAY B. NAGBHIDKAR, Chief Administrative Officer/C/RSP, with File No. DY.CE/GSU/BSP/ROB/LC No. 338/land acquisition/1.
