The acquisition is for the 'Bilaspur Division - Construction of RUB in lieu of LC No. 305 at Km. 610/19-21 ROB Yard. (Box pushing method)' Special Railway Project in the state of Chhattisgarh. The substance of the intention notification was published in the daily newspaper "Central Chronicle" (Raipur) on 01st November, 2025, under sub-section (4) of Section 20A. As no objections were received within the stipulated time and the Competent Authority submitted its report to the Central Government under sub-section (1) of Section 20E, the Central Government now declares the acquisition. Upon publication of this notification, the specified lands will vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances. The acquired lands include 0.124 Hectare in Village Badedumarpali, P.H.No.- 27, Tehsil Kharsia, District Raigarh (C.G.), and 0.138 Hectare in Village Chaple, P.H.No.- 33, Tehsil Kharsia, District Raigarh (C.G.), totaling 0.262 Hectare. Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, In the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) S.O. number 4630(E), dated 09/10/2025, published in the Gazette of India (Extra- Ordinary) Part-II section 3 sub section (ii), (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) under subsection (1) of 20A of the railway act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for execution of Special Railway Project, namely “Bilaspur Division - Construction of RUB in lieu of LC No. 305 at Km. 610/19-21 ROB Yard. (Box pushing method)." in the state of Chhattisgarh. And, whereas, the substance of the said notification Number 4630(E), dated 09/10/2025, was published in the daily newspapers, "Navin Kadam” (Raigarh), (Hindi) & “Central Chronicle” (Raipur), (English) on 01st November, 2025 under sub-section (4) of Section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, no objection was received within the set time period. And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (I) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted his report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section I) of Section 20E of the said Act, 1989, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances, A.
