Railway) NOTIFICATION Bilaspur, 31ST July, 2024 S.O. 3117(E).— Notification under Section 20(E) of the Railways Act, 1989 Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) Notification No. 1620 dated 12.04.2024 published in the Gazette of India Ordinary, Part-II, Section 3, sub-section (ii), (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) under sub-section (1) of 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for execution of Special Railway Project of construction of IB Flyover of 9.0 KM length for Railway traffic connecting IB station and Brundamal station in Jharsuguda District of Odisha. And, whereas the substance of notification No.1620 dated 12.04.2024 under sub section (4) of section: 20A of the said Act was published in the daily Newspapers, Aaroop, Bharat Darshan, New Indian Express & Hiranchal in Odia Edition on dated 25.06.2024 whereas no objections have been received in the stipulated period from the land losers, and whereas, in pursuance of sub section (1) of section: 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted his report to the Central Government. Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of the section: 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; and, further in pursuance of sub section (2) of section: 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all Encumbrances.
