L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-CG-E-06022026-269868 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 531] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2026/MAGHA 16, 1947 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA: EXTRAORDINARY [PART II-SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South East Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Bilaspur, the 4th February, 2026 NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 20 A of THE RAILWAY ACT 1989 S.O. 560(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 20(A) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred as the said act), the Central Government after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land brief description of which is given in the schedule annexed hereto is required for execution of Special Railway Project, namely for Up-gradation of existing 1x25KV Traction System to 2x25KV OHE with AT feeder arrangement between Jharsugda-Raigarh, Raigarh-Champa, Champa – Gevra Road, Champa-Bilaspur, Tilda-Bilaspur, Tilda-Durg, Durg-Darekasa, Mundikota-Nagpur, Bilaspur-Pendra Road-Anuppur & Raipur-Lakholi sections over SEC Railway to meet 3000MT loading target in the state of Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra over SEC railway, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may within a period of 30 days from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette, raise objection to the acquisition of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub section (1) of section 20 (D) of the said act. Every objection shall be made to the competent authority namely, Anuvibhageey Adhikari (Revenue) and Bhu arjan Adhikari Dongargarh Disstt. Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh in writing and shall set out grounds thereof and the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or through a legal practitioner and may after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any as the competent authority thinks necessary by order either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the competent authority under sub section (2) of section 20 (D) of the said act shall be final. The land plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent authority.
