L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-CG-E-05052026-272248 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2104] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, MAY 4, 2026/VAISAKHA 14, 1948 3090 GI/2026 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South East Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Bilaspur, the 4th May, 2026 NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 20E OF THE RAILWAY ACT 1989 S.O. 2191(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, In the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) number 989, dated 11/03/2026, published in the Gazette of India (Extra-Ordinary) Part-II section 3 sub section (ii), hereinafter referred to as the said notification) under subsection (1) of 20A of the railway act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for execution of Special Railway Project, namely “Bilaspur Division - Construction of RUB in lieu of Manned LC No.338 at km 666/18-20 in CHAMPA YARD on JSG-BSP section" in the state of Chhattisgarh. And, whereas, the substance of the said notification Number 989, dated 11/03/2026, was published in the daily newspapers Chhattisgarh (Hindi) Janjgir, Times of India (English) Raipur, Dainik Bhaskar (Hindi) Bilaspur edition on 11.03.2026 under sub-section (4) of Section 20A of the said Act, And whereas, no objection was received within the set time period. And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (I) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted his report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section I of Section 20E of the said Act, 1989, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances, A.
