The substance of the Section 20A notification was published in daily newspapers on October 14, 2025, as per Section 20A(4). No objections were received within the specified time and were disposed of by the Competent Authority under Section 20D. Subsequently, the Competent Authority submitted its report to the Central Government under Section 20E(1). The acquired land includes Khasra No. 67/4 in Village Matin, Tahsil Pasan, Distt Korba (C.G.), with a total area of 0.028 Hectare. L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-CG-E-04122025-268220 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 5394] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2025/AGRAHAYANA 12, 1947 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South East Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Bilaspur, the 3rd December, 2025 Notification Under Section 20E of the Railway Act 1989 S.O. 5582(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, In the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) number S.O. 4399 (E), dated the 03 October 2025, published in the Gazzette of India (Extra-Ordinary) Part-II section 3 sub section (ii), hereinafter referred toas the said notification) under subsection (1) of 20A of the railway act,1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act),the central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for execution of Special Railway Project, namely GEVRAROAD to PENDRAROAD (135.00 km.) in the state of Chattisgarh. And, whereas the substance of the said notification 20 A was published as per section 20A sub section (4) in the daily Newspapers, Dainik Bhaskar (Hindi) Bilaspur Edition on 14.10.2025 and Rashtriy Vijay Mail (Hindi) Korba Edition on 14.10.2025. And whereas, No objections were received within the set time period and disposed of by the Competant Authority under section 20D of the said Act;And, whereas, in pursuance of subsection (1) of section 20E of the said act,the Competant Authority has submitted his report to the central Government; Now,therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competant Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of the section 20E of the said act 1989, the central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the sechdule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further, in pursuance of subsection (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Cenrral Government free from all Encumbrances.
