The Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), through Notification S.O. 5554(E) issued from Bilaspur on 1st December, 2025, has authorized, in exercise of powers conferred by clause 7A of section 2 of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) Ghansore as the Competent Authority. This authority is granted to perform functions under the said Act for the Special Railway Project involving the doubling of the railway line between Gondia – Jabalpur, covering a distance of 230.50 Km. This project falls within the Tahsil Ghansore and District Seoni in the State of Madhya Pradesh. The authorization is effective from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette. The notification was signed by Vijay Kumar Sahu, Chief Administrative Officer (Con).

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-CG-E-02122025-268166 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2025/AGRAHAYANA 11, 1947 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (Railway Board) NOTIFICATION Bilaspur, the 1st December, 2025 S.O. 5554(E).- In exercise of powers conferred by clause 7A of section 2 of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officer mentioned in column (2) of the table below as the Competent Authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act in respect of the Special Railway Project mentioned in column (3) of the table below & relating to Tahsil and District in column (4) & (5) of the table below in the State of Madhya Pradesh with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
