NOTIFICATION
Patna, the 8th April, 2025
S.O. 2018(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (4) of Section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989
(24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for public
purpose, the land, the brief description of which has given in the Schedule annexed hereto, is required for
implementation of Special Railway Projects, of New BG Line from km. 0+000 to km. 3+868 to connect Sigsigi end
ROR to avoid surface connection at Garhwa road for Down Trains towards Chopan". The project, under jurisdiction
of East Central Railway Rail project, in the District of Palamu in the state of Jharkhand, hereby declares its intention
to acquire such land;
Any person Interested in the said land may, within thirty days from the date of publication of this notification
in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-
section (1) of Section 20D of the said Act;
SCHEDULE
Brief description of New BG Line from km. 0+000 to km. 3+868 to connect Sigsigi end ROR to avoid surface
connection at Garhwa road for Down Trains towards Chopan". The project, under jurisdiction of East Central
Railway, is situated in the state of JHARKHAND.
