The Ministry of Railways [N.F. Railway (Construction) Organisation] issued a corrigendum, S.O. 3930(E), on 16th July, 2026, to correct its previous Notification S.O. 2108 (E), dated 25.04.2026. The original notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii). The correction clarifies that the 'Competent authority' mentioned in the earlier Gazette Notification, which was stated as 'District Magistrate, Kishanganj', should now be read as 'District Land Acquisition Officer, Kishanganj'. The Competent authority in the Gazette Notification “District Magistrate, Kishanganj” to be read as “District
Land Acquisition Officer, Kishanganj”.
