NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 20th August, 2025
Sub: Constitution of State Level Committee as per para (3) of the Wood-Based Industries (Establishment
and Regulation) Guidelines, 2016 vide Gazette Notification, dated 11.11.2016-reg.
F. No. 8(03)/Forest/HQ/Plg./2019/Part-2/7086.—WHEREAS, in compliance with the directions contained
in order, dated 05.10.2015 of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) No.202 of 1995, in the
matter of T.N. GodavarmanThirumulpad Versus Union of India and others, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and
Climate Change, Government of India has formulated the Wood-Based Industries (Establishment and Regulation)
Guidelines, 2016 and the same were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated 11.11.2016;
AND WHEREAS, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India has
amended the said guidelines and the same were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated 11.09.2017&
22.02.2019.
AND WHEREAS, the para (3) of the guidelines provides for the constitution of a State Level Committee to
perform the functions stipulated in the said guidelines.
In exercise of the powers conferred by Para (3) of Wood Based Industries (Establishment & Regulation)
Guidelines, 2016 dated 11.11.2016, the Govt. of NCT of Delhi hereby constitutes a State Level Committee (SLC)
consisting of the following members:

The committee shall perform the functions as stipulated in the Wood-Based Industries (Establishment and
Regulation) Guidelines, 2016 dated 11.11.2016 amended vide Gazette Notification dated 11.09.2017 and 22.02.2019.
