No. 11/06-H/DOP/2026/100-112.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No. 11011/2/74-UTL (P) dated the 20th March, 1974, and in continuation to the 11 Special Public Prosecutors appointed vide earlier Notification No. F.8/95/2020/H-II/2112 dated 24.06.2020, the Competent Authority, is pleased to appoint the following 01 Law Officer/ Senior advocate/advocate, as Special Public Prosecutor:— 1. Sh. Amit Prasad He shall conduct all court proceedings including Bail, Trial, Appeals, and all other Miscellaneous matters, applications and Writ Petition filed by the accused parties or NGOs in various courts in connection with all the FIRs which have been registered in cases related to Anti-CAA protests and Law & Order situation arising out of these protests in Delhi, which include riots cases of North East District, Delhi. The fee terms & conditions will be settled in due course. This issues with the approval of Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor, GNCT of Delhi. By Order and in the Name of the Lt.
