NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 16th January, 2026
F. No. 6/1/2015/Judl./Suptlaw/125-133.—Under the provisions of Section 20 of the Punjab Courts
Act, 1918, as in force in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, the Lt. Governor of National Capital
Territory of Delhi, on the recommendation of the High Court of Delhi, appoints the following officers of
Delhi Higher Judicial Service as Principal District Judges, as under: -
(1) Mr. Dinesh Bhatt, already Principal District & Sessions Judge under next below rule, as
Principal District Judge on regular basis with effect from 01.01.2026;
(2) Mr. Arun Bhardwaj as Principal District Judge on proforma basis with effect from the date
his junior takes over;
(3) Mr. Pitamber Dutt as Principal District Judge on regular basis with effect from the date he
takes over;
(4) Mr. Sanjay Garg-II as Principal District Judge under next below rule with effect from the
date he takes over; and,
(5) Mr. Pankaj Gupta as Principal District Judge under next below rule with effect from the
date he takes over.
