The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, through its Office of Secretary Revenue-cum-Divisional Commissioner (Revenue Department), issued a notification on December 15, 2025 (F. No. 1(32)/Legal Branch/Revenue HQ/2025/90). This notification is made in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 93 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Act 5 of 1908), and supersedes all previous notifications on this subject. The Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi thereby appoints the Deputy Commissioner / Collector for each revenue district as the competent authority to exercise all the powers vested in the Advocate-General under Section 92 of the aforementioned Code, within their respective jurisdictions. The notification was issued by order and in the name of the Lieutenant Governor, signed by NEERAJ SEMWAL, Secy. (Revenue)-cum-Divisional Commissioner.
