No. DTO/VIU/Tpt./2024/380.—In exercise of power conferred by sub-rule (iv) of Rule 174 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 read sub-section (41) of section (2) of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988, with sub- section (a) of section 45D of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, Act 1991, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi hereby nominates & empowers Commissioner of Transport, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, to issue Preliminary registration Certificates, issue and renew Registration Certificates under Chapter-XI of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 for the registration of automated Testing Station.
