To assess the flood problems in NCT of Delhi and to deal with question of policy in connection with floods, flood relief and measures for flood control and protection. 2. To arrange for collection of the requisite data in connection with an approved programme. 3. To evolve and organize a flood warning system in NCT of Delhi. 4. To plan and approve all schemes costing more than Rs. 50.00 Crore connected with measures of controlling floods, remedial measures and to determine priorities. 5. To arrange for the efficient maintenance of flood control works. 6. To devise measures to cope with flood emergency situation. 7. To arrange for implementation of approved schemes according to an authorized schedule. (b) The Flood Control Board will meet as and when necessary but not less than once in six months. (c) The Chairman will represent the Delhi Flood Control Board in the Central Board or nominate one of the members to represent the Flood Control Board of NCT of Delhi. NAVIN KUMAR CHOUDHARY, Addl.
